How to set a Homepage?
1) To set your homepage, click on the 'Start' button at the bottom of the screen.
2) In the menu that opens up, look for either 'Settings', or 'Control Panel', depending upon which version of Windows you are running.
3) If you see 'Settings', you will need to open it, and select 'Control Panel' within it.
4) Inside of the 'Control Panels' window, if you only have a small handful of icons listed here, look in the upper left, for 'Switch to Classic View', and click on it.
5) Then, look for an icon called 'Internet Options', and double-click on it.
6) Inside of the resulting window, 'Internet Properties', toward the top, you will see a box labeled 'Homepage', and within the box is a line labeled 'Address'. Erase what is in this line, and type in the address of the site you want to use as your homepage.
7) If you want to use the NTS page, then type in 'http://www.nts-online.net', without the little quote marks.
8) Then, click on 'Apply' at the bottom, followed by 'OK'.

How to allow Cookies?
1) To allow cookies on your computer, we will assume you are using Internet Explorer. If not, you need to call us for assistance.
2) Inside of Internet Explorer, click on 'Tools' at the top, and then click on 'Internet Options' at the bottom of the menu.
3) Inside of the 'Internet Properties' window, on the first screen here, look for the middle section, titled 'Temporary Internet Files'.
4) In this box are two, or three, buttons - the count depends upon the version of Internet Explorer you are using. One is 'Settings' - disregard this one.
5) One is 'Delete Files'. Click on this one, and then click 'OK' on the small window that pops up.
6) Then, if you have the third button, called 'Delete Cookies', click on it now, and click 'OK' on that small window.
7) Next, at the top of the window, click on the tab titled 'Security'. Toward the bottom, there should be a button called 'Default Level' - click on it.
8) If you cannot, that is OK, just go on.
9) Now, click on the 'Advanced' tab at the top, and click on the button below the list in the white box, titled 'Restore Defaults'.
10) Now, click 'OK' at the bottom, close all windows, click on the 'Start' button. Select 'Shut Down' or 'Turn Off Computer' (depends upon the version of Windows you are running), then select 'Restart'.
11) If this doesn't work, you will need to call us for assistance in repairing your Internet Explorer.

How to clear Cache?
1) Assuming you have Internet Explorer, follow these steps to do so. If you are using any other software, please call us for further assistance.
2) Inside of Internet Explorer, click on 'Tools', and then on 'Internet Options', at the bottom of this menu.
3) Inside of this new screen, you will be on the 'General' tab, which is where we need to be. Notice that this screen is sub-divided into three sections, 'Homepage', 'Temporary Internet Files' and 'History'.
4) We will focus completely on the middle section, for the temporary files.
5) At the bottom of this particular section, you will see 2 or 3 buttons, depending upon what version of the software you have.
6) The only two, we are interested in are 'Delete Files...' and 'Settings'.
7) Click on 'Delete Files...' first. This opens a small box to confirm, with an option to include all off-line content.
8) Place a check mark in this box, and click 'OK'. This process may take only a matter seconds all the way to several minutes, depending upon your computer, and its configuration.
9) When the hourglass has dissappeared, click on the 'Settings' button.
10) On this new window, look toward the bottom right hand corner, for a number in a white box. No matter what this number is, please change it to '5'.
11) Click 'OK' here, and then again on this 'General' tab screen.
12) This number is what assigns the amount of space on your computer to be used for temporary files. If this number is too large, your computer will continuously pull stored information from these files, even from several days prior, rather than attempt to open the actual current page from our side. This is also what prevents it from connecting to open the page, as it can simply retrieve the page from these stored.
